Personal footnote to all:
I really enjoyed your event, firstly from a photographic point of view; dance lends itself to still photography, a photograph requires feeling and dance delivers that in movement and emotion. Secondly, originally from London and remembering the events defined in the film 'Pride' and having been involved in the national crisis from a different perspective. It is heart warming to know, although they try their very best "they" can't take it all and never can.
